About the Author
JIM WILLIS holds the Hardin Chair of Excellence in Journalism at the University of Memphis. He is a veteran of more than a decade in the news business and two decades in the university classroom teaching journalism. He is a former reporter and editor with The Daily Oklahoman and The Dallas Morning News. He has authored or co-authored seven books on journalism and the news media and he continues to report on significant events for newspapers such as The Daily Oklahoman.
