About the Author
Robert E. Goodin is Professor of Philosophy at the Research School of Social Sciences, Australian National University, Canberra. Philip Pettit is Professor of Social and Political Theory at the Research School of Social Sciences, Australian National University, Canberra, and is author of Not Just Deserts (with John Braitwaite, 1990); The Common Mind (1993) and Republicanism (1996).
