About the Author
Steven Farron received his BA and PhD from Columbia University in New York. From 1974 to 2000 he taught in the Classics Department of the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. His specialty is ancient Greek and Latin epic poetry on which he published a book and over twenty articles. Dr. Farron resigned from his teaching post in 2000 in order to devote his time to writing a trilogy of related books of which this is one.
