About the Author
Dr. Ranjit K. Roy is President of Nutek, Inc., a leading provider of scientific and quality engineering training services for the Taguchi Method tm, Components Durability Test Planning, and Weibull Analysis. Dr. Roy has held engineering management positions with Burroughs Corporation, where he directed engineering application studies, and General Motors Corporation, where he served as Manager of Reliability and Validation and was instrumental in introducing the Taguchi approach. He has developed several software application package for Accelerated Experiments, Weibull Analysis, and Design of Experiements Using the taguchi Method. Dr. Roy is an adjunct professor at Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan.
