This book is based on the papers delivered at the First International Congress on Toxic Combustion By-Products: Formation and Control held at the University of California, Los Angeles, August 26-29, 1989. The topics explored include areas critical to the development of advanced designs of combustion devices and new control strategies, and to the development and implementation of appropriate government regulations. The papers focus particularly on combustion of waste.
