About the Author

NANCY BARON is a zoologist and an award-winning science writer. She also is an internationally respected communications trainer for members of the scientific community. Nancy has hosted a number of nature documentaries featured on the Discovery Channel and has worked as an environmental columnist for Global TV. She also is the former natural sciences columnist for the Vancouver Sun newspaper.
