About the Author
GREG BUTCHER is a science director with the National Audubon Society and a respected conservation biologist. Butcher is a former editor of Birder's World magazine and spent six years as executive director of the American Birding Association. He has a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Washington. CHRIS FISHER is a university-educated naturalist with a background in research in endangered species management and wildlife interpretation. He has conducted birding expeditions extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Thailand and is the author or co-author of eleven books on birds.
