About the Author
Laurens van der Post is the author of eighteen books, including A Mantis Carol, The Lost World of The Kalahari, The Heart of the Hunter and Jung and the Story of Our Time. Born in South Africa, van der Post is now a British citizen and was knighted in 1980. The godfather of Prince William, van der Post was named among the twenty best British authors by England's Book Marketing Council.
