Book Description
"The Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest." Isaiah 32:15

Picture yourself walking across Death Valley where the temperature is 120 degrees and dry sand reaches as far as you can see. Then think about the wet rain forests of the Amazon, thriving with green foliage and brilliantly colored flowers.  Our powerful Creator made both of these very different climates.

By exploring the contrasting areas of our world, you'll discover just how God's creation reveals His creativity and sense of variety.

God created a myriad of climates, terrains, and animals for us to enjoy.  But from this incredible creation god also reveals His love and care for us.

Michael Carroll is a science journalist who has written for such magazines as Popular Science, Astronomy, and Sky and Telescope.  His children's magazine work has included Junior Scholastic, Highlights, and Odyssey.  he has authored and illustrated the books Spinning Worlds, Volcanoes and Earthquakes, and Lightning and Rainbows.  An astronomical artist for more than fifteen years, Mr. Carroll has done commissioned work for NASA, and his art has appeared in several hundred magazines throughout the world.  His paintings have aired on "Nova," "Cosmos," and various TV specials.  He was chief artist at the Reuben H. Fleet Space Theater and Science Center in San Diego and now lives with his wife, Caroline, and children, Andy and Allie, in Littleton, Colorado.

Mr. Carroll states: "God brought me to Himself through the sciences and proved to me His existence through the beauty and order of His creation."
