Tales from a Northwest Naturalist

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Jim Anderson has been knocked out of trees by Great Horned Owls, pounced upon by Goshawks, and grabbed by Golden Eagles for over twenty-five years. He is a natural storyteller, weaving sad or funny adventures among the poignant or absurd, yet never forgets to entertain. This book chronicles his encounters with wildlife over a lifetime in the out-of-doors. A great family read.

About the Author
Over the years, Jim Anderson has served as first Naturalist for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Director of the Portland Children's Zoo and Conservation Education Department, and naturalist for private and governmental ventures into the environment. Now retired, Jim lives with his family in Sisters, Oregon.
